'Washi' is a traditional Japanese paper made from Kozo (mulberry park), known for its unique texture & strength.

This fabric is woven in Kakegawa, in Shizuoka Prefecture, and dyed with binchotan charcoal in small vats (producing the unique creases and patina in the finish in Kojima, Okayam Prefecture.
