We take pride in introducing the Daily shirt, our foray into sustainable silk garments. The shirt is crafted from Ahimsa Silk, sourced from India through nonviolent breeding and harvesting methods. This humane approach involves breeding wild silk moths instead of domestic ones, allowing the silkworm to complete its metamorphosis into a moth stage. Unlike traditional silk harvesting, where silkworms are killed in their cocoon stage, no animals suffer or die for the production of Ahimsa Silk. The fabric boasts a noil texture, utilizing the shorter fibers leftover from the production of other silk fabrics. This texture creates a subtle roughness that gives the shirt character. The Daily shirt is made in London, featuring a classic minimalist silhouette and eco-friendly recycled paper buttons.
