Ava Kapetanakis is a ceramist based in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Originally from Charlotte, NC, Ava found her love for wheel throwing in her freshman high school ceramics class. Her work is inspired by: vintage upholstered furniture, costume design, Greek amphoras and of course ancient ruins.
